ReCOM is a forward thinking charity which is tackling the causes of digital exclusion in the UK. It helps the disabled and disadvantaged enhance their lives by providing access to information technology through affordable refurbished computers.
ReCOM is looking for another member to join an experienced and enthusiastic Board of Trustees which is responsible for the overall direction, vision and strategy of ReCOM. We are looking for people who are able to contribute to the strategic debate and are enthusiastic about widening accessibility to IT. Ideally, you should also have skills or experience in one or more of the following:
- business management
- marketing
- legal
- IT services or training
- fundraising
- the voluntary sector in Solihull and/or Birmingham
- working with some of our target beneficiaries, including the elderly, the housebound, those on low incomes or with disabilities.
