Sport England’s new “Core Market” programme is offering grants of between £50,000 and £500,000 to help people stay active when life changes.
Life changes could include:
- serious injury or illness;
- moving house;
- starting a new job;
- having a baby or
The programme will support a range of sports and non-sports organisations who have the ability to engage with active people at different life changes and help under-represented groups stay active.
Projects funded through the programme can last for up to four years. Eligible applicants could include health professionals supporting people who have a serious injury or illness to find an activity that fits their current situation, colleges and universities supporting people who are starting a new phase of education or housing associations supporting those moving house find new activities in their local area, etc.
The closing date for submitting expressions of interest is 5pm on 22nd May 2017.
