Grants and low interest working capital loans are available to registered charities and constituted not for profit organisations. The AHF can provide grants to help with assessing the viability of a project, or to fund development costs. Currently two types of grants are on offer, these are:
- Project Viability Grants of up to £3,000 are available to fund short studies to look at potential uses for a building and at its current condition. This grant is administered on a rolling basis.
- Project Development Grant funding of up to £25,000 to assist an organisation to cover some of the costs of developing and co-ordinating a project and taking it towards the start of work on site. Applications are considered at quarterly meetings.
The next application deadline is the 16th August 2017.
