General Manager – SCHA

Starting Salary: £40,000 per annum (pro rata)

Based in Solihull    

24 hours of work per week

Solihull Care Housing Association Ltd (SCHA) provides good quality homes and services for people with a range of special needs including frail elderly, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.

We are now seeking to recruit an inspirational leader to succeed our current General Manager when he retires at the end of September 2017.

The successful candidate will have extensive and appropriate managerial experience together with the passion and commitment to take on this pivotal role, ensuring that we continue to grow and respond well to future challenges and opportunities.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leading and managing the staff team
  • Working closely with the Board to develop and implement a long term strategy
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Enhancing SCHA’s impact and profile
