Preventing children going hungry in school holidays – Children’s Health Fund

For some children during the school holidays there is a vital food provision gap that needs filling.

Not-for-profit organisations that want to provide good food as part of holiday learning, play and activity programmes can now apply for funding of between £1,000 and £5,000 from the Children’s Health Fund. Applications at the higher end of the scale will be for projects looking to expand their work.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on 6th October 2017.

The Board will meet in November to decide which applications will receive funding. Awards will be announced in December.

See the Children’s Health Fund website for further details.
