The Ideas and Pioneers Fund from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) supports people with unusual or radical ideas to improve the life chances and opportunities of people in the UK.
The Fund supports individuals over 18 and partnerships or small organisations with a charitable purpose. Projects funded will be based around unusual or radical ideas that can improve the life chances and opportunities of individuals and communities in the UK enabling people to realise their potential and to go on to enjoy fulfilling and creative lives.
Applications should be for ideas that are in the early stages of development and the funding should be used to enable the applicant to develop the idea from concept to set-up. Grants of up to £15,000 to cover a period of up to 18 months are available with most grants expected to be in the region of £10,000
Applications to the Fund should be supported by a 3-minute video and may be submitted at any time.
The Foundation has also produced some tips for preparing a budget to go with the application.
