Young people’s mental health – Spirit of 2012

The Spirit of 2012 Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) has launched a new Challenge Fund, calling for applications from community based organisations working to tackle mental health issues among young people in Wales and North-East England.

A total of £75,000 is available over two years to a project that can deliver lasting results for young people. The Youth Panel are interested in funding projects that use arts and cultural activity to improve the wellbeing of young people with poor mental health and/or tackle the stigma around mental health conditions.

Applications can be submitted from a range of organisations including registered charities, community interest companies, and educational institutions (schools, further and higher education sectors) as long as the grant will be used for community outreach activities beyond the formal curriculum.

Interested organisations should submit an expression of interest before 9am on 5 February 2018.
