The National Express Foundation is central to National Express Group’s support for the wider community in which it operates in the UK. For 2018, National Express has awarded additional funds to the Foundation meaning that a total of £100,000 in additional grants is available.
Two grant streams that aim to tackle issues of boredom, lack of motivation and unemployment among young people aged 15-24 are available:
Charitable and community groups can apply for grants of £2,000 to £20,000 for projects which support young people to enjoy positive and developmental activities and promote cross-community cohesion and understanding.
Eligible organisations will be located in the West Midlands area served by the National Express bus business (which includes Solihull).
The deadline for applications is no later than Friday 24 August 2018.
