Comic Relief fund to tackle homelessness

Comic Relief has launched a new initiative to prevent homelessness in the UK, India, South Africa, Zambia and Nigeria.

Local Community groups can apply for grants of between £150,000 and £300,000 for projects that prevent homelessness and shelter insecurity. Grants of up to £750,000 are available to organisations working within a wider partnership.

The funding is available for 3-5 years and can be used to cover the core costs/ overheads of an organisation/partnerships, or specific projects and activities, or a mixture of the two.

The fund opens for applications on 15th August and the deadline for applications will be 1st October 2018.

Applications will be shortlisted and successful applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Decisions will be made by Comic Relief Trustees in March 2019.
