Trustees Needed

Adoption Support is a well established and respected Adoption Support Agency that supports those affected by Adoption via a diverse range of valuable services.

As a registered charity Adoption Support is currently looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Trustees to our board.

The trustee board is responsible for effective governance and strategic management of the charity. Trustees therefore need a broad commercial mindset, ideally developed through experience in senior roles in the public/voluntary sector. You must be committed to working with staff to generate a substantial increase in charitable funds and to raising the profile of the organisation. Financial literacy is essential.

Of particular interest are those with experience of:

  • Managing and/or developing voluntary or public sector organisations,
  • Public relations or marketing,
  • Statutory funding regimes and commissioning,
  • Major fundraising.

For an informal discussion please contact Julie McBride on 0121 666 6014.
