Training in running breakfast clubs

Kellogg’s, Forever Manchester and Northumbria University have joined together to provide free online training to help you run a successful breakfast club.

The training includes information on the benefits of breakfast clubs, healthy eating and child nutrition, effective planning and handy hints on funding and marketing.

Breakfast Clubs can apply for this training up to 31st May

Video on starting a user led organisation

A training video on starting up a user led organisation (ULO) has been created by Spectrum, itself a ULO run and controlled by disabled people.

The video is based on the real life experiences of groups who have gone through the setting up and early development process. Supplementary learning notes and a funding guide will be available shortly.

Development opportunity for emerging sector leaders – Clore Fellowship

Applications have opened for the 2017 batch of Clore Social Leadership Fellowships for emerging leaders.

The 12-month Fellowship Programme is individually tailored but includes experiential team challenges, residential training, coaching, mentoring, a secondment and a provocation piece.
