Volunteering in acute trusts in England

The King’s Fund has published new research into the contributions volunteers make to acute trusts.

One of the key findings was that acute trusts surveyed have an average of 471 which equates to more than 78,000 volunteers, contributing more than 13 million hours per year.

Guide to Disclosure and Barring Service

On 1 December 2012 the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) merged to form the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
