The Fund

The money raised from Solihull Together‘s fundraising activities goes towards a small grants fund that is available to charities and voluntary organisations that support the people of Solihull.
This is for small grants of between £100 and £500.
Solihull Together Fund 2011 – 30 groups benefit

The funding panels have met twice in 2011 and twice as many groups benefitted (See Recipients) section.
The December panel consisted of

- Emily Cooper, Fundraising Manager, AgeUK, Solihull
- Emma Davies, Community Champion, Tesco
- Eleanor Betts, Director, Think Wills and Probate
The April panel consisted of
- Kerry Turner, Citizens Advice
- Samantha Brown, St John’s Hotel
- Maureen Shepherd. Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs
A fourth member, Claire Mansell from Tesco was unable to attend the panel meeting
Solihull Together Fund 2010 – 15 groups benefit
Solihull Together resilience funding has been distributed to Solihull-based charities and voluntary groups seeking support with their running costs in the current economic climate and also with providing addtional support or services to their client base.
The money was raised by local residents and businesses as part of the 2010 Solihull Together campaign, including the Solihull Together Ball. Fifteen groups benefitted from small grants of £100-£500.
The grant allocation was judged by an independent panel in July 2010 and was made up of:

- Graham Frankland, xoserve
Solihull Together Fund 2009 – 12 groups benefit
Solihull Together resilience funding was distributed to Solihull-based charities and voluntary groups struggling to cope financially with the effects of the recession.
The money was raised by local residents and businesses as part of the 2009 Solihull Together campaign. Twelve groups benefitted from small grants of £100-£500 which will help to carry them over a difficult 12-18 months.
The grant allocation was judged by an independent panel, made up of:
