Solihull Together Fund 2009
Solihull Together resilience funding has been distributed to Solihull-based charities and voluntary groups struggling to cope financially with the effects of the recession.
The money was raised by local residents and businesses as part of the 2009 Solihull Together campaign. Twelve groups benefitted from small grants of £100-£500 which will help to carry them over a difficult 12-18 months.
The grant allocation was judged by an independent panel, made up of:
- Councillor Debbie Evans
- Pat Cropper, Solihull Sports Council
- Anita Tarry, Ramada Solihull
- Peter Johnson, Knowle Society
The panel all agreed that it was great to see money being raised and spent locally, to help groups in need.
Solihull Together is a registered charity (1063014)
