Develop your group
If you have an idea for a project or are looking to set-up a group that there is a need for, there is practical help available to help you to deliver your goals more effectively.
SUSTAiN’s Community Development Officer offers free of charge one-to-one support, listening to your ideas and helping you in making your ideas a reality.
Support can be provided at any stage, from the initial setting-up of an activity, to helping with the development of projects, policies, governance and growth, and if necessary, helping groups to wind up.
Some examples of the types of support available are:
- helping groups assess their needs
- capacity building support at different stages of development
- setting up and running volunteering programmes
- development of constitutions/legal structures
- charity registration
- management committees/trustees
- policy development
